The Frontier Basement System wall anchor system offers a reliable and solid foundation repair solution to all of our customers. Our wall anchors contain 3 main components: an internal wall plate, a linked steel rod, plus an external earth anchoring system. Working in conjunction with each other, they do not just support and strengthen the foundation wall, they are able to handle pressure being pressed up against the wall and return the wall to its initial, vertical position.

Installation Details: To set up a Frontier Basement System wall foundation anchor, a little section of your yard is removed, and the area beneath will be excavated. An anchor is put in the hole, and a small hole is made inside the foundation wall from inside. The steel rod- without any corkscrew end- is forced through the soil to where the anchor is put outside the house. The anchor is bound on the rod, and the soil is returned and stuffed tight. The lawn is returned to its initial condition, and a wall plate is connected to the steel rod inside the foundation. The wall plate is going to be tightened up against the wall, and this tightening is duplicated as time passes. Regular re-tightening of the wall plate against foundation wall has the possibility to pull the wall back to its original position. In addition, foundation anchors are cost-effective and can generally be set up in one day. Year-round set up can be achieved, and the job can be finished with nominal lawn disruption and with no reason at all to replace the foundation.

If it has shifted substantially in the middle and there's a large horizontal crack, it is a judgment call as to whether the wall should be replaced. Usually the minimum that needs to be completed is the pressure has to be taken off the wall. This is done by digging to the footer level outside, and setting up a field of crushed limestone between the earth and wall structure. The area between the pieces of limestone soaks up pressure from the soil, removing it from the wall. Rebar pours and or interior wall braces tend to be necessary to reinforce the wall.
